Why This book?
I came across this book in Dave Ramsey’s Recommended reading list. When I ordered it and and bulled it out of the packaging I laughed because it is such a short book with only 96 pages. Thought heck I might accidently finish this book in one day. I did just that, in fact I finished it in little under an hour. the story is simple but has a powerful message.
WHAT WAS I WANTING TO GAIN FROM THIS BOOK?
I knew going in that this book was about dealing with change but was surprised how this solution was conveyed in this parable.
DID THE BOOK ACCOMPLISH THIS GOAL?
Yes, it helped me identify myself as a Haw and why I was that way. What are the solutions for a person who is a Haw and the change that he faces to it.
WHAT DID I LEARN FROM THIS BOOK?
Life changes, everyday You can sit down close your eyes to it and play the victim like Hem. You could accept the fact that there are changes and grow with them, Learn from them. Keep an eye out for changes Sniff out the problems heading your way prepare for them. Scurry into the unknown and know that having the superior brain doesn’t always make you the better person.
DID THIS BOOK HELP DIRECT ME ON MY PATH?
Yes I does help in that I have to be aware. Know that change is going to be scary at times and uncomfortable but the experiance is what I need and will actually come to embrace that change with laughter and bravado.
Would I read it again?
